i wish for once in this goddamn mess i could just fucking lie when it matters the most.
not to get away with it, but to keep from hurting people. particularly myself.
i just have to stop and stick with it. which really isn't that hard at all. so i should probably stop doing stupid, ridiculous shit already.

if you ever even think of ever having feelings for me, take those feelings and run the opposite fucking direction with them. as far and as fast as you can. and don't ever feel sorry for me, because i deserve every bit of what i'm feeling and how things turn out.

The weather was too funky and too much debris in the water of the mighty Monongahela River yesterday to take our boat up to Morgantown to watch the fireworks. It's the first time in 4 years that I haven't been at ground zero to see them from my boat on the river. I hope you all had a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend :)

La, went to Jenni's for 4th of July goodness this afternoon. I finally gave her her birthday present! We had a barbecue, sat around the pool, played some Wii, et cetera. Then we went to Flower Hill to watch the fireworks from the Crescent Club.

I updated my LJ to new colors... I hate the picture at the top so that will change eventually, just I need to care enough about making a topper or whatever. haha.

for now I'll just enjoy my new blue/purple background.

La. Instead of a picnic at Caumset, we had a picnic on Claudia's deck today. And then we played lots of Rock Band with Claudia's mom, who had just gotten home from the hospital after knee surgery. I played drums. Claudia provided me with the title of a book I'd been trying to remember for some time, and a possible author.

Hi, everyone! I just thought I'd give a little update on what's going on here in the life of moi.

Well, things are going alright. I have four certifications now, and am working on the next Microsoft exam. I hate it sometimes, it feels trying having to sit around all day with your absolutely nuerotic teacher standing behind you, trying to dictate all that you need to do that day, but heck, I guess he's just trying to keep me in check.

The certs I have so far are the following:

A+
Network+
MCP - Microsoft Windows XP
MCP - Microsoft Windows Server 2003

I'm working on Server 2003 Infastructure.

My life seems to revolve around school, and I'd love to get a job, but I'm so nervous about it! It seems that whole transition into the work world is easy for some, but it freaks me out to no end. I hope sooner or later I'll be able to swing myself into it. I think I'd be good at it if I had the chance, but only if I can combat this painful shyness. Gah.

Other than that, there's no much else. There's a boy, yes, but I don't think he's as interested in me as I am him. It's hard, I guess, it always seems to work that way, but hell, he asked me out first. I keep telling myself that so I don't lose all hope. Hee. He's pretty, a little skinny, but I think he's handsome. And we're a lot alike. I really like that.

I'm glad to hear that everything is going well for everyone! I hope that Pud had a great birthday! Mine was pretty good, too.

Other than that, I'm at home now for the next three weeks (this week included in the three), and I hope I can survive. My Dad is now home for good, as long as he doesn't break his home confinement (which he shouldn't, because he's so anal about it). My sister is there too, including her underhanded comments about the things I wear and the how I don't get a long so well with my nephews. It burns her up that I can't really connect with the little ones, but I just don't have the patience for young, young kids. God, help me.
